LOL, thanks! Got my Bobby fix there.
Got to admit, to the early-era folks, that the best of those is certainly '72. Now don't gloat.
Is it just too embarrassing to really love Bob singing Bobby McGee?

Damn, that's a good one, short shorts and all.

Now that 20 years have passed I am awfully glad that they videotaped so many shows in 89-90. Past their prime, etc, and what-not all else, it is still great to be able to see them play again

I often think that for historical reasons, it's a shame the video footage is so weighted toward the later years. But I agree it's still good to see them, the way some of us remember them ...

That is exactly what I meant - thank you for clarifying. Of course, I'd rather have video of Spring-Summer 1973, but it's great to have ANYTHING at all. I'm actually quite fond of "Truckin' Up To Buffalo" - everybody is in good voice and good spirits and they seem to be having a great time making music together.

Bobbie McGee is my GF favorite GD song...Because she likes Janis's version and knows the words..I think its the only time she actually listens to the GD when they play here.I like to play it once in awhile to make her perk up.
